While ministering in prisons, hospitals and homeless shelters;
as well as churches and other events, I see so many hurting
people. Many are struggling to make it through temptations,
trials, hardships, and times of aching emptiness. They are consumed
by problems that never seem to go away, feeling trapped, miserable,
helpless and hopeless. No matter how deep the pain, however,
the spirit of heaviness is no match for the awesome power of
praise!
There are so many stories I could share about how God has used
the words of a song or the simple melody of an instrument to
accomplish His purpose in the lives of people. I believe in
the ability of anointed music to heal wounded hearts, to encourage,
to strengthen and to testify of the sovereignty of our LORD.
Its boundaries are endless!
My prayer for this work is first, that God would use the songs
to speak a rhema word to the heart of every hearer. Secondly,
I pray that it would be used as a tool to inspire fellow artists
young and old to continually aim toward the mark of the high
calling. Allow God to use your gifts for His purpose, remembering
that the testimony of your song should be enhanced by the testimony
you live. |
